"The Private Eye is a program to develop higher order thinking skills, creativity, literacy and scientific literacy - across subjects. It's based on a simple set of "tools" that produce "gifted" results."  Students are taught to look closely at the world, to write, draw, think by analogy and theorize. The founders of this program, from Washington State, taught a wonderful all day workshop for all teachers to utilize in their classrooms.

 

SPARK has continued to work with the methodology of The Private Eye. This program can be utilised either with one subject area or with an integrated lesson.
